Amy Cox
Following graduation from Liverpool in 2012 Amy spent her first couple of years in the Brecon Beacons working in mixed practice. Realising her interests lay in farm animal work, she decided to move back to her roots in Cheshire, from where she has worked in farm animal practice for over 10 years. She is passionate about all aspects of farm animal medicine and surgery and has gained a reputation for her work in flock health and sheep medicine as well as a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Cattle). Amy joined the board in 2022 keen to work on the sustainability of the farm veterinary profession, responsible medicine usage and antimicrobial stewardship.
Outside of work Amy plays in multiple netball leagues and enjoys weekends away in the Yorkshire Dales.
